Movie Magic Series

About This Series

If you're new to Confluence at Katy First, then you should know that we believe God is at work in the sacred and secular. We would say that God is in all things. And since movies are a way so many of us are inspired, we think God is at work in them.  In our world, magic is a word we use for things that are mysterious, intriguing, powerful, and maybe even, unbelievably hopeful. This all sounds like God and the good news of God's grace in our lives, and so Movie Magic is about how this Grace shows up in our lives all over.

While we are in a socially distanced world, we can still connect. In fact, I bet you are watching more movies than ever - why not do it together? Over these 5 weeks we'll look at movies that anyone can watch, and also speak into the depth, joy, and mysterious of God.

We'd love for you to watch the movie before we talk about it Sunday. We'll provide some snacks ideas and questions to think about as you do. Pay attention to our social media pages too because we'll be posting ways you can win pizza, cookies, or gift cards to make your movie night special. So follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

Thanks for joining us!
